In the cloud: Preview of Apache HBase clusters inside Microsoft Azure HDInsight is announced

Earlier this week, Microsoft said there will be an update to HDInsight to support Hadoop 2.4 for 100 times faster queries. On Friday, the company announced the preview of Apache HBase clusters inside Microsoft Azure HDInsight, Micrsoft’s Hadoop-based service in the cloud.
