A global judging panel has finished evaluating more than 170 student projects from 76 countries in the Imagine Cup’s World Semifinals round and has chosen the top 35 teams that Microsoft will fly to Seattle at the end of July for the 2014 World Finals.
Imagine Cup TV covers every team, talks about their projects, and gets insights into technology industry trends. The teams hail from all over the world, including Japan, India, Brazil, Qatar and Uganda. Projects also run the gamut, from a game simulating a protest, to a TV-based communications system using stuffed animals, to an app that provides information on a building’s accessibility for those with mobility impairments.
Head over to the Imagine Cup Official Blog to find out more about the 35 teams that made it to the finals.
