Thomas Asger Hansen, head of Grundfos’ global working culture and social business teams, has put together a “social business cookbook” that compares business transformation to kitchen artistry – especially through collaboration. Hansen’s recipe for problem-solving through crowdsourcing includes posting questions and creating private working groups in Yammer.
Grundfos is the world’s largest manufacturer of pumps and has more than 18,000 employees around the globe. Its staff has learned to collaborate online as a way of transcending borders. Through strategies outlined in the book, problems were solved in less than 20 minutes, with input from those with cross-organizational expertise.
Find out much more about Hansen’s methodology — and how vital enterprise social is to it — over on The Yammer Blog.
