‘The Evil Within’: You’ll want to play it with the lights on

While horror survival games like “Dead Space” and “Resident Evil” are well-known for their high scare-the-pants-off-you factor, “The Evil Within” may well surpass them in that department.

Shinji Mikami, creator of “Resident Evil,” is also the creative force behind “The Evil Within,” which puts players in the role of Sebastian Castellanos, a detective sent to investigate a mysterious mass murder at a mental hospital.

The game, coming for Xbox 360 and Xbox One – and mainly coming for you – gets a closer look from the folks at Xbox Wire. Head on over there. But be careful when you do.
