App of the Week: Alaska Airlines app touches down in the Windows Phone Store

Traveling via Alaska Airlines – which offers nonstop flights to more than 100 destinations in North America – just got a little easier with the arrival of the airline’s app in the Windows Phone Store.

Travelers can manage existing reservations, book a new trip, check in, get their boarding passes, view their mileage plan balances and track flights right from the convenience of their Windows Phone devices.

The app also allows customers to change seats prior to departure, keep an eye on first-class and standby seats, add flight details to their phone’s calendar, share travel itineraries with family and friends and track flights taken by family and friends.
