Since safety is on all our minds, the Security Tips & Talk blog has come up with some handy reminders on things to do to protect your Microsoft account.
Your free Microsoft account (previously known as Windows Live ID) is the combination of an email address and a password that you use to sign in to services such as Xbox Live and Outlook.com, as well as Windows Phone and Windows devices.
The blog suggests: Create a strong password, protect your password, enable two-step verification, make sure the security information associated with your account is current and watch out for phishing scams.
Head over to the Security Tips & Talk blog for more details on these recommendations.
