OneDrive for Business in Office 365 gets smarter search and other refinements

The new Web interface of OneDrive for Business appears when you click OneDrive in the Office 365 top navigation

Simple controls, site folders and smarter search are among the refinements beginning to roll out now for users of OneDrive for Business in Office 365.

The simplified controls bring new upload, sync, edit, manage and share options directly above your personal work document folders so that with one click or touch, you can create new Office documents, upload files, share your files internally and more, writes Mark Kashman on the OneDrive Blog.

Smarter search lets you just start typing to find a document that was shared with you, or is nested. “Just as important as finding what you are looking for is taking immediate action — like sharing these files — directly from within your search results,” he writes.

To learn more about these and other improvements, head over to the Office Blogs and to the OneDrive Blog.
