Now you can print Word, Excel and PowerPoint docs from your iPad

You can now print Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations from your iPad, the Office Blogs announced Tuesday. The new feature, the most requested by users, comes as part of the first update to the Word, Excel and PowerPoint for iPad apps, released last month.

In Word for iPad, you can choose to print a document with or without markup. In Excel, you can print a selected range, a single worksheet or an entire spreadsheet.

Also added, as part of the update: SmartGuides in PowerPoint to help you align pictures, shapes and text boxes as you move them around on a slide, and AutoFit in Excel so you can adjust the width of multiple rows or the height of multiple columns at the same time.

Download the updated Word, Excel and PowerPoint for iPad in the App Store, and check Apple’s list of wireless printers that work with its iOS AirPrint program for iPad. To learn more, head over to the Office Blogs.
