Group video calls on Skype now free for users on Windows desktop, Xbox One and Macs

Skype group video calling is now free for users of Windows desktop, Xbox One and Macs. Until now, group video calling has been part of Skype’s Premium service for $9.99 a month, which also includes unlimited calling, on those platforms.

“In the future, we’ll be enabling group video calling for all our users across more platforms – at no cost,” Skype said in a blog post Monday.
