In observing the 14th annual World Intellectual Property Day April 26, Microsoft joins the other member companies of the Partnership for American Innovation (PAI) to highlight some innovations made possible by the U.S. patent system.
These products total more than $40 billion a year in research and development and support 1.2 million jobs. Microsoft also supports innovators through Microsoft Ventures, Microsoft Innovation Centers and the Garage.
