The Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute ecosystem is expanding with new alliances with BT and Verizon. These partnerships will help customers move to a mobile-first, cloud-first world on their terms, providing multiple options for secure and reliable connections to Microsoft Azure.
Wednesday’s announcement builds on a long-standing partnership between BT and Microsoft, and will enable customers using BT’s IP Connect Virtual Private Network (VPN) service to seamlessly extend their existing corporate networks into Microsoft Azure using the Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute service.
Microsoft is also entering into a strategic alliance with Verizon Enterprise Solutions.
