A new version of Skype for Windows PCs and tablets is now available, and it can help manage your busy life through different options for showing availability.
For instance, you can choose to be invisible and still get incoming messages — but others don’t know you’re around to pick them up. Or, with the return of “sign out” you can choose not to get any notifications at all.
Here are instructions for the latest Skype features and a free upgrade to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8.0.
