Twitch on Xbox One sets record-breaking numbers

Since Twitch on Xbox One launched last month, nearly 23 million minutes have been broadcast, including more than 2.7 million minutes on March 10-11 — the most ever for a Twitch console app in its first day, reports Xbox Wire.

Twitch is the world’s largest video platform and community for gamers, who can broadcast their games live. “Titanfall” is the most-broadcast game on Twitch on Xbox One, with members streaming more than 10 million minutes of the game from Xbox One so far.

Another record-breaking stat: In its first week on Xbox One, 108,000 unique Twitch users tried their hand at broadcasting, accounting for 22 percent of Twitch’s unique broadcasters in the same period of time, Xbox Wire writes. “To put that in perspective, according to Twitch, it took another console a month to achieve what the Twitch app on Xbox One did within its first week.”
