In San Francisco Thursday, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella spoke about the strategy and investments Microsoft is making to deliver a cloud for everyone and every device. The release of the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite figures prominently in that goal.
In a blog post Thursday, Brad Anderson, corporate vice president of Cloud and Enterprise, focused on the three key elements of the suite: Identity and access management delivered by Azure Active Directory Premium, mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) delivered by Windows Intune, and data protection delivered by Azure AD Rights Management Services.
This suite represents a comprehensive, people-first approach to identity, devices, apps and data.
As Anderson writes, “With EMS you are actively building upon what you already have and empowering your workforce well into the future.”
