App of the Week: Bing Health & Fitness, Bing Travel and Bing Food & Drink hit the Windows Phone Store

Big news in the app department from Bing this week. On Tuesday, three new Bing apps for Windows Phone – Bing Health & Fitness, Bing Travel and Bing Food & Drink – were added to the already-impressive suite of free applications that also includes Bing News, Bing Sports and Bing Finance.

Also announced Tuesday – your personalized settings and content from Bing apps will “roam” across Windows PCs, tablets and phones, saving you time and providing a consistent experience no matter what device you’re using.

Now, let’s dive into those three new free apps.


Bing Health & Fitness gives you access to diet, exercise and health information, plus more than 1,000 exercise videos to help you be a healthier you.


Bing Travel provides detailed information for more than 2,000 travel destinations and provides helpful currency, weather and booking tools all in one place.


Last but certainly not least, the new Bing Food & Drink offers a comprehensive guide to food and drinks with thousands of recipes and a convenient shopping list.

To enable the new roaming feature, users must: a) update their Windows Phone and Windows versions of the Bing apps; and b) log in to each app with their Microsoft Account. Check out the video above about the new roaming feature, and explore the full list of new features on the Bing Blog.
