Help choose the winner of the Surface Classroom Design Challenge and you could win a Surface 2

“Surface Binder” combines the Surface and Touch Cover with a more traditional three-ring binder. It’s one of many entries in the design challenge.

Surface is finding a happy home in schools, so the product team decided to hold the Surface Classroom Design Challenge, asking students and other enthusiasts to put on their thinking caps and help re-imagine the classroom with Surface as a learning tool. Now, you can vote for your favorite idea from the many entries submitted.

“We’ve gotten some amazing designs and some very innovative ideas – like Surface desks, binders, backpacks, RC blades, solar powered chargers, and more,” writes Jacqueline Russell, manager, Microsoft Surface, on the Surface Blog.

Check out the entrants in the Gallery, choose your favorites, then register and vote, with voting ending Jan. 17. You could win a Surface 2 just for voting, Russell says.

Design challenge winners may receive a Surface 2 or Surface Pro 2, and the grand prize is a classroom full of Surfaces to be donated to the winner’s school of choice.
