Weekly Windows Store sale doubles choices to six apps, indie games and Xbox titles

Starting Jan. 2, the weekly Red Stripe Deals in the Windows Store – which saves you at least 50 percent on certain apps, indie games and Xbox titles – is doubling its selection to six choices.

The inaugural batch includes Xbox’s “Hydro Thunder Hurricane” ($4.99, regularly $9.99), where high-powered speedboats rocket through 11 race environments. “Dungeon of Legends” ($1.99, regularly $4.49) takes you to a world of magic and illusion in a mission to complete the “Tower of Eternity,” with more than 75 puzzle-filled rooms. “Pettson’s Inventions 2” ($1.49, regularly $2.99) brings more fun with old man Pettson, his cat, Findus, and the creative inventions you help them build. “Big Mountain Snowboarding” ($1.49, regularly $3.49) sends you down a 3D mountain of challenging snowboarding trails.

As you can see from the image above, Files&Folders ($3.99, regularly $7.99) makes business much more fun than it should be, as a fully functional file manager. You can archive files and folders, watch movies, look at pictures and listen to music. And when you’re ready to manage your fitness front, use Pocket Yoga ($1.49, regularly $2.99) to set your own pace and schedule as you work through three levels of difficulty in three different practices, at home, at your hotel, or wherever you’ve got a mat and your device.

Find all six of these deals in the Red Stripe Collection in the Windows Store, spotlighted on the Store landing page.
