The wait is over: ‘Halo: Spartan Assault’ now available on Xbox One

Good news if you’ve been waiting for “Halo: Spartan Assault” to play on your Xbox One. It’s now available for $14.99 via digital download.

As Xbox Wire reports, you’ve got more than 30 stimulating missions at your fingertips, and you can “play longer than ever with the all-new online cooperative mode and the Operation Hydra expansion that delivers an action-packed addition to the single player campaign.” In this chapter of the popular franchise, you experience war with the Covenant, the first missions of the Spartan Ops program and the rise of Commander Sarah Palmer.

Also a reminder: If you already bought the game for Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 and you did so before Dec. 15, you can save some money on the Xbox One version and get it for $4.99.“Halo: Spartan Assault” for Xbox 360 will be available in January.
