In October, Microsoft Virtualization Certification became available to help VMWare experts “future-proof” their careers. On Dec. 17, Brad Anderson, corporate vice president, Windows Server & System Center, said the course is now available for no charge.
“We are now making the course available for free, on-demand and we are also offering the free exam voucher to IT pros who take this on-demand version of the training,” Anderson writes on the In the Cloud blog.
This fall, Microsoft also started offering free live training to prep for the certification and a voucher to take the certification exam for free.
“It would be a big understatement to say that the interest in these resources has been high – in fact, we have now added a second interactive training to meet demand,” he writes.
He urges VMWare experts to check out the updated Virtualization2 website and “see what leaders from the Virtualization Technology User Group have to say about adding Hyper-V to your skillset. And get started with the free training – and claim your voucher (live now!).”
