Before the start of the SharePoint Conference 2014, cloud app developers will be able to participate in an all-day training session to help them learn the skills needed to get ahead with building apps for both Office and SharePoint.
The SharePoint Developer Team made the announcement on the Apps for Office and SharePoint blog on Tuesday. “Since the technologies used are the same across Office and SharePoint, this jumpstart is essential for anyone who has just started to build apps,” the team writes.
“This session will help bring your technology skills up to speed and ensure that you can quickly leverage the other great conference sessions around apps for Office and SharePoint development.”
The training will be done by Scot Hillier, an independent consultant and Microsoft SharePoint Most Valuable Professional. He writes about the workshop on his own blog as well.
The SharePoint Conference 2014 will be held March 3-6 at the Venetian Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas.
