The free Skype app for Windows Phone just got a fresh update that includes the ability to trade video messages asynchronously with your contacts, the Skype Blog reports. The new version of the app is available now in the Windows Phone Store.
To record a video message in the app, just open a conversation and tap “+” or follow the prompt you see when you call someone and they don’t answer.
Skype for Windows Phone 2.1 also brings a handful of bug fixes and makes it easier to get to your settings from the app’s home screen.
Download Skype for Windows Phone (or go grab the update if you have a previous version) to get started using video messaging.
