With the Tuesday release to manufacturing (RTM) of Windows 8.1, hardware partners are busily preparing devices in all sizes, prices and form factors for the holiday season. As a matter of fact, for Microsoft and our partners, the Oct. 18 general availability (GA) of Windows 8.1 will essentially kick off the holidays. For developers, GA is a great opportunity to kick off app updates and new apps, as well.
Because you can publish Windows 8.1 on day one of GA, you probably want to get your apps ready now. The team on the Windows App Builder Blog has compiled a bunch of resources to help you get started. Find out what you need to know, what new features you can take advantage of, and even how to build apps based on existing iOS apps.
Oct. 18 is right around the corner – get your apps ready now to make a splash! Find out how in this post on the Windows App Builder Blog.
