Over on Xbox Wire, Phil Harrison, Xbox vice president, talks about working with Electronic Arts to bring to life on Xbox One and Xbox 360 the latest installment of the world’s bestselling sports franchise in “FIFA 14”; how Xbox fans will get all downloadable content for “Call of Duty: Ghosts” first on Xbox One and Xbox 360; and the new Independent Developers @ Xbox (ID@Xbox) program, which will enable game developers of all shapes and sizes to build, publish and distribute their games digitally on Xbox One.
Harrison talks about other games that were revealed at gamescom, with an idea of what to expect next from Xbox, including more from mega-franchises like “FIFA,” more exclusive titles like “Titanfall,” more epics like “Halo” and “Call of Duty,” and more games reimagined for Xbox One such as “Fable Legends.”
He also notes that gamers can expect the most immersive, new-generation gameplay with multiplayer and innovations like Kinect and SmartGlass, which makes gaming a more fun and authentic experience than it ever could have been before.
