    This is a lie:

Your account has been temporarily blocked

"If you can’t unblock your account with a code, you can contact support. To reach the support page, you must be signed in to your account. Even though it’s blocked, you should still be able to sign in and read email."

I can not read my email. I can not get support. I had this email for 10 years. Why is MS blocking me? Please help me. I have important emails.

Eve, If you could please unblock temporary in order for me to get my emails that would be great. Please help me Eve.

This is a lie as well:

I am having problems receiving or using a security or verification code

The link takes you to website and asks for log in. I typed my account and it says that it is temporarily blocked blocked.

Please help me unblock it. Eve, Is there some other link or some other option? I had this account for 10 years or more now.

I have successfully been using Microsoft Security Essentials on my 2003 E-Machines T2672 since your MSE product became available. My computer is on auto-Update downloads, but  it appears I am now having problems. Over the last 2-3 days I keep getting messages that MSE is not turned on so I ran a security check on the downloaded updates and printed it out this morning,

The following auto downloads apparently could not be installed, some of which were from 2013.

    MSE –  4.5.216.0 (KB 2949787)

    MSE – 4.4.304.0 (KB 2902885)

Definition Update for Microsoft 2010 (KB 982726) 32 bit edition.

Security Update for MS Word 2010 (KB 2863926) 32 bit edition

Security Update for MS Word 2010 (KB 2863902) 32 bit edition

Security Update for MS Word Outlook (KB 2837597) 32 bit edition

I need help with solving the install problem for these updates and can I upgrade from the XP  Op System up to Windows 7 Home Premium

I can't sign in. It looks like my account is blocked. I contacted microsoft customer service, but never got to back to after I provided with the message displayed on the screen. I heard that someone has been asking for a "security code".

Many Outlook issues would be resolved if Microsoft displayed the actual e-mail sender information as it appears when you hover over the fictitious one shown in the Outlook Sender name field. Obviously the information is available, although I am certain most people don't know how to find it, nor should they be required to look for it. It is an issue which Microsoft appears to be "looking away" from.

I cannot sign into my hotmail account. It is giving me a wrong email address of netzero which we no longer have!! I got the code and changed my password and still get the message that it looks like someone is trying to access your account!! we used to have both accounts, but now only have the hotmail. Please get me back into my account!!!

This info provided does not work. My account was temporary blocked a few weeks ago. I had the account since 1996. I could not get it back. I tried everything you listed but none of it works. Is there a way to fix this?

I just want an easy account that I had back in 1996. If you need it, I can give you my password so you can fix it. Please let me know if you can fix it.

PLEASE tell me this is NOT legit, and that I just got spammed or scammed.  If this is Microsoft's idea of a security update, this is a HORRIBLE way of going about it, for a company with BILLIONS of dollars!!!  While I'm happy to have FINALLY found this mere blog/thread to rant on, and while I will be VERY thankful if it will help, I'm doubting I'll get much based on what I've read in others' posts and responses above.  Why is there no instant chat support system on a billion dollar website??  Even department store websites have that.  As another individual above stated, it is the same with me; I've had my Microsoft account for ten years, probably more like THIRTEEN, and have been almost to TEARS trying to get into my account!!!! – I have tried and tried to get into what, by habit, I still call my "Hotmail" account!  "Microsoft" for some reason, out of no where, requests a code that it wants to send to my OLD phone number.  I don' t have that phone anymore!!!  I haven't updated my phone number, because I saw no reason to do so in the last thirteen years.  My phone number is one line of communication that I've closed off as much as possible to businesses, and do NOT like handing out.  This is a ridiculous way to force people to hand out their phone number, who don't like handing them out.  I was asked if I was the one who sent the request to change my security info. I clicked yes. It took me in circles, only to tell me it would send me an email on 6/26/14.  What ever happened to security questions that even BANKS use, such as: "who was your 3rd grade teacher?", or "what was the name of your first pet", or "what is your father's middle name", or  "what was your mother's maiden name"?  Here's the real kick in the ass: There is not even an option to UPDATE my phone number for the code to be text/called/sent to!!!  In the end "Microsoft" told me they will send me ANOTHER email in ANOTHER thirty days on 7/27/14!!!  Oh, yay!!  It's just too bad I can't wait another thirty days!!

I said i open this frequently and didn't want a security code.  The next thing i knew I am the owner of a security code.

I am afraid to shut down my computer for fear i won't be able to get in to my mail again after reading the comments above.

I've had trouble with Outllook mail ,, when composing a NEW e-mail, that goes fine. it's only a problem when I try to add the address/ name of the person, on the left side of  the page, I use BB line.. no name  shows up after I type in part of the address I need to send the e-mail  to .

IShould I download  Outlook mail AGAIN,  will that solve my problem ?

I need to hear from you quickly about this.

    thank you

    Georgia

Why does my Outlook page load then appear to reload after I have started checking my mail? While checking the boxes to delete mail it does this and I have to start over again.
