If you are familiar with IE10 on Windows 8 then you will find one very significant difference with the Windows 7 IE10. On Windows 8, Microsoft has integrated Flash Player and provides all of the updates and fixes. On Windows 7, Adobe Flash Player is not maintained by Microsoft. It is just another addon and YOU WILL HAVE TO DO THE FLASH UPDATES YOURSELF. Microsoft should make them both the same to avoid confusion. Is this another example of left hand – right hand problems? Two different teams did the work and nobody co-ordinated.

We are running Windows 7 and do not want to upgrade to Explorer 10 at this time. We have our machines set to Install Updates Automatically. Will Explorer 10 be automatically sent to our machines or will we have to request the download. Thanks

After downloading Internet Explorer 10 we lost our spell check capability along with many others. As a result we restored our computer back to IE9 as others are doing. Why was this done and what it Microsoft going to do to resolve this serious flaw. In addition, with IE 10 we were unable to get into some of our favorite websites until we restored to IE9. These flaws are very serious and need to be corrected. Microsoft users including ourselves request Microsoft let us know what is being done to correct these issues.

We just found out from three people who downloaded IE10 but not Outlook can no longer get spell check even on Hotmail. WHAT HAPPENED????

IE10 is not compatible with Yahoo mail.

This is what I get at the site:

You're almost there, but your web browser doesn’t support the newest version of Yahoo! Mail

Upgrade to a faster, more secure version of a supported browser. It's free and it only takes a few moments:

Other than using Firefox, what's the solution?

The links don't work. All you get is "the page you wanted can't be found."

I could not open IE at all when it auto-updated to IE 10.  I could still use Safari and Firefox, but I prefer IE.    The only way I could resolve the IE problem was to de-install it and revert back to IE 8 (I also had problems with IE 9).
