Microsoft and Best Buy team up to create the Windows Store only at Best Buy

Looking to purchase a Surface Pro or Windows Phone 8 device, but you want to actually hold it in your hands before laying down your hard-earned cash?

Well, it just got easier to demo one of the many awesome Microsoft devices through a new strategic partnership announced today that will create the Windows Store only at Best Buy, a comprehensive store-within-a-store in 500 Best Buy locations across the United States and more than 100 Best Buy and Future Shop locations in Canada.

The stores will range in size from 1,500 square feet to 2,200 square feet, and will be the premier destination for consumers to see, try, compare and purchase a range of products and accessories, including Windows tablets and PCs, Windows Phones, Microsoft Office, Xbox and more, Brandon LeBlanc reports over on the Windows Experience Blog.

Brandon got the chance to sit down with Microsoft Chief Marketing Officer Chris Capossela to talk about the new stores within Best Buy and the kinds of retail experiences customers can expect to see at them.

Head on over to the Windows Experience Blog for more detail about the new stores and the Q & A with Chris Capossela.
