Daily Update, Oct. 26th – Bing Apps on Windows 8 Unveiled

It’s been a big week at Microsoft to say the least, and it’s not over yet.

With today’s release of Windows 8, people can now experience Bing in a brand new way. Also, you’ve heard us talk about how Windows 8 is Windows re-imagined – it delivers a beautiful, fast and fluid experience, along with a new user interface that responds equally well to touch as it does to keyboard and mouse. As you have probably heard, Windows 8 is available in a few editions but for small and mid-sized businesses the starting point is Windows 8 Pro. This edition was created specifically with small and midsize businesses in mind and delivers the experiences you want, along with new levels of productivity, security and mobility that your business needs. Finally, you may have heard about the new Microsoft Surface – it’s gotten a little bit of press the past few days. 🙂 We wanted to share the photo below of a young man named Glenn who bought the first Surface for Windows RT at the Microsoft pop-up store in New York. He looks pretty happy, doesn’t he?
