Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines are equipping their pilots with Surface Pro 3 to make flight operations even more efficient, it was announced Wednesday. Lufthansa has purchased more than 5,000 Surface Pro 3 devices for pilots. Device rollout to pilots worldwide will be in February and March 2015 to pilots in all regions where Lufthansa flies.
